The PP wire mesh defoamer is mainly composed of a wire mesh block composed of a wire mesh and a wire mesh grid, and a supporting device for fixing the wire mesh block. The wire mesh is a gas-liquid filter mesh made of PP material.
PP mesh demister can not only filter out larger liquid droplets suspended in the airflow, but also smaller and smaller liquid droplets. It is widely used in gas-liquid separation devices in industries such as chemical, petroleum, tower manufacturing, and pressure vessels.
PP mesh demister: When gas with mist rises through the mesh at a certain speed, due to the inertia of the mist rising, the mist collides with the fine wire of the mesh and is attached to the surface of the fine wire. The diffusion of mist on the surface of the filament, as well as the gravitational settling of mist, causes the mist to form larger droplets that flow along the filament to the intersection of two filaments. The wettability of the filaments, the surface tension of the liquid, and the capillary action of the filaments cause the droplets to become larger and larger, until the gravity generated by the droplets exceeds the combined force of gas lift and liquid surface tension, and the droplets separate and fall from the filaments. After passing through the wire mesh demister, the gas basically contains no mist.
Separate the mist in the gas to improve operating conditions, optimize process indicators, reduce equipment corrosion, extend equipment service life, increase processing capacity and recover valuable materials, protect the environment, and reduce atmospheric pollution. The structure is simple, the volume is small, the defoaming efficiency is high, the resistance is small, the weight is light, and the installation, operation, and maintenance are convenient. The wire mesh defoamer has a capture efficiency of 98% -99.8% for mist with a particle size of ≥ 3~5um, while the pressure drop of gas passing through the defoamer is very small, only 250-500Pa, which is conducive to improving the production efficiency of the equipment.
